History

In Fall, 2000, a Chinese couple – Mr. Yang De-ming and Ms. Grace Chen Qi, who had been living in the United States for many years, came back to China in order to invest in and establish Chengdu Meishi International School. With full support from Meishi Group and the Chinese government, through almost two-year elaborate planning and hard work day and night, a campus with a mixed design & style of both the East and the West and with the state-of-the-art facilities came into being. The School was officially opened on September 1, 2002. From then on, Chengdu Meishi International School ended up the history that there was not a true international school, which should be authorized by the Sichuan Provincial Government, in Chengdu.

The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
